    Make it yours

Doodles, stickers, glitter, colors. Decorate it any way you like.

  5. 5

    Let it go

Leave it somewhere to be found, or hand it to someone in passing. Then trust it to land where it’s needed.

What to write

Start with “Dear stranger.”

This is the message that started it all. Copy it word for word, or let it inspire your own. There is no wrong way to do it.

Dear stranger,

This is a note to remind you how amazing YOU are. This is a note to remind you how beautiful YOU are. This is a note to remind you how unique and talented YOU are.

Life can be challenging sometimes, but it is important to remember… you are so BRAVE! You are so STRONG! Keep going, you got this!

May the rest of your day, week, LIFE be filled with love and happiness.

The power of three

Feeling it? Make three.

One note is a gift. Three is how a ripple starts: for a friend, a family member, and a complete stranger.

Questions

Good to know.

Making notes with your class, team or family? We’d love to see it on Instagram.

Do I have to write three?

No. One note is enough to change someone’s day. Three is the invitation, if you feel moved to keep it going.

Who should I give it to?

Anyone. Most notes are left for a stranger to find or handed to someone in passing. You never need to know who it reaches.

Do I sign it?

You don’t need to. A note from a stranger is part of the magic.

Is it really free?

Yes. The template is free for everyone, always. Print as many as you like.

Can kids and classrooms do this?

Absolutely. Care For Three has been a class project in elementary schools and is easy to do together.
