Hello,
My name is Lee Ramirez and I would like to share something near and dear to me called Care For Three.
A few years ago, I was rushing to my car in the middle of winter. It was really cold that day, I had a lot on my mind and a pile of work to get done.
As I got to my car, I saw a note on the windshield and immediately thought “somebody hit it”. Totally frustrated and cold, I grabbed it and jumped in the car.
What happened next completely stopped me in my tracks. It was a handwritten letter and it began with “Dear stranger”.
The message that followed left me touched, moved and inspired. I read that note many times over, carrying it around with me for a week before I ultimately decided to put it on another car.
Years later, I still carry the feeling that the letter left me with that day.
From that note, and the Power of Three concept in the movie Pay It Forward, Care For Three was created. I thought if I handwrote three notes to give away to strangers, then, maybe the next person would continue the cycle.
This is a tough world we live in. Often, we walk by those who feel disconnected from the world. They, like so many others, feel lost and alone.
What if a mere act of kindness could change everything for you, a friend, a family member or, a complete stranger. What if it changed their life? What if it saved one?
My request is simple, be a part of the Care For Three movement with any of these three options:
- Share this video with everyone.
- Handwrite three notes to put out into the world. Give them to anyone, or leave them to be found.
- Be a leader in our project. Help us connect with support services for those who need it. Help us start class projects in schools and other groups so they may impact the communities they live in.
These powerful notes are already traveling the world in many different languages. The world needs more love in it, and together we can connect it with the love they contain.
If you take on our project or you’ve received a handwritten note, share with us at CareForThree.com or on any of our social media pages, we would love to see and hear your story.
Thank you,
Lee Ramirez
